Code of Ethics
At Canadian Welding Skills, we take learning and welding seriously. Our students come to us with one goal in mind – to learn the skills necessary to provide them with that all important first welding job. And since we are focused on skill development and an accelerated ten week program, we have a formal “Code of Ethics’ that all students must agree to abide by. It’s founded on common sense and respect.
We also operate with a two week probationary period, after which we conduct a review to discuss any concerns or matters requiring attention. Since in industry, most new employees are hired on for a probationary period (typically 3 months), this standard is a good learning experience, and promotes an open communication channel between instructors and students.
