Welder Qualification Upgrade

Canadian Welding Skills is registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. There are a variety of programs available that can offer financial assistance to students considering a program at Canadian Welding Skills. Some of these programs include:

Second Career

Candidates must be on an active Employment Insurance (EI) claim to access funding opportunities. Your first step is to make an appointment with your local Employment Counselling Agency, and follow their directives in terms of paperwork requirements.

Second Career will fund, for those eligible, tuition, materials, textbooks, tools, testing fees with the Canadian Welding Bureau and often will offer support for those needing accommodations with us.

Registered Educational Savings Plans (RESP)

Canadian Welding Skills is registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. Our programs qualify for funding support through RESP plans.

To qualify, you will need a formal Letter of Acceptance from us. You may also be required to do a comparison between the program offered at Canadian Welding Skills and your local Community Colleges. We have done this research on behalf of our students for many Ontario Community Colleges to simplify the process for our clients.
